Neit/her He nor They/r
MAP Theatre and Midnight Rice Productions team up to present ...

MAPs Night Off:
Neit/her He nor They/r

Neit/her He nor They/r is the Seattle iteration of the "Non-Binary Monologue Project", conceived by formerly-local artist K. Woodzick. Emerging non-binary artist Evan Price curates & directs the Seattle show, which features a full cast of trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming performers.

Neit/her He nor They/r is a fierce and joyous discovery, declaration and celebration of self-truth, exploring the wide variety of experience within the trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming communities through the juxtaposition of modern and classical text. It dovetails perfectly with MAPs mainstage show, Year of the Rooster, which was written by trans playwright Olivia Dufault.

Tickets to MAP shows are always Name-Your-Own-Price, with no service fees.

More About  MAPs Night Off

Once a mainstage show opens, MAP only needs the theatre on performance nights. What happens to the theatre on all those other nights? When the MAPs away  the mice will play! In this case, the mice are trusted and fierce creative voices in our community who have an idea and simply need a space to work it out. MAP provides the space and some production assistance, and our partner provides the magic.

More About  Midnight Rice Productions

Midnight Rice is a performance production company focused on accessibility and equity in the art it produces. We honor the differences in each of us, we laud what makes us stand out from others, we celebrate the unique intersections of identity that define our experiences. Midnight Rice strives to showcase and uplift these stories, and to allow access to as many people possible both financially and logistically.

MAP Theatre is an independent and not-for-profit producing company with deep roots in the Seattle community. We favor local work and comedy that hurts a little bit. We find strength and satisfaction in a highly collaborative process with all team members at the table. MAP's goal is to relish the creative journey from process to product. MAP actively strives to reduce the barriers to live theatre, and champions a completely Name-Your-Own-Price ticketing model, with no service fees.

MAP Theatre is Powered by Shunpike, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides independent arts groups in Washington State with the services, resources, and opportunities they need to forge their own paths to sustainable success.
